We can say enough good things about our Egypt and Ghana trip as Compassion Action volunteers. We saw so much of the Egypt and Ghana – the market, historical monuments, a villages and the best meal we ate in 7 days of travelling. The Cairo, Accra and Cape Coast City Tour is perfectly curate, We feel as though we came away having seen quite a bit of the cities loved every minute of it.

Compassion Action Foundation in Chicago, an afternoon of Art History and Sisterhood.
We shared a wonderful experience at the Chicago Art Institute. The exhibit, Great Empires of Islam—An Introduction to Ottoman, Safavid, and Mughal Art. The majority of the attendees were artist, quilt makers, poets and and several bakers. The creativity was electric. To go back to the 1600 and hear and view the great work was just what these gifted women needed. They are planning the next event and looking forward to more opportunities of inspiration.

CAF in Delaware for Friday community prayers. The experience was a tapestry of diversity. A great picture of the Human Family. After the prayers people came together over food and conversation as positive energy flowed through the room. We discussed future
opportunities to work together for the betterment of our cities towns and neighborhoods.
The CAF building bridges at the Muslim Journal conference in Houston Texas. It was a pleasure to network with the attendees, that were professionals, community members and social service organizations. There was much to see with workshops, vendors, and cultural precipitations
. The rich long standing history of the news paper dates back to the 1960″s and is continuing to stand tall.

The day after…
Thanksgiving day, a time for family food and togetherness. However, some are hungry and alone. It is the hope of Compassion Action Foundation to reach out to those persons. Integrity of Newark NJ and our Compassion Action Foundation Newark NJ location volunteers, deserve a big thanks,for helping us serve. For several years we have reached out to the homeless with love, kindness and a hot meal. This year two of our generous businessmen blessed us with individually packaged hot soup and sandwiches.
