CAF community dinner & homeless feeding

The day after Thanksgiving an American day of family togetherness. We the Compassion Action Foundation and Islamic Society of Essex County join together to feed our community. After Friday prayers and feeding the soul we shared a meal to feed the body. We then were ready to take to the streets. Food for those in our community who weren’t able to attend the dinner. Some homeless and taking shelter by Peen Train Station.

We are pleased to for the second year,  shared food boxes with the traditional program Integrity House. It was a time for thankfulness in the city of Newark and we are thankful for an afternoon with our family, the Human Family.

An afternoon of breast cancer awareness ! Gathered together for education for sisterhood. We learned the importance of exercise and diet to prevent cancer. It was also stressed to have regular examinations mammograms as well as monthly self-examinations. Prevention is the best cure . Compassion Action Foundation annual breast cancer awareness gathering is one of the many services that we provide around health. Drink plenty of water, exercise and take a moment to meditate each day.
