Greetings to all our Catholic friends and the supporters of the newly elected Pope Leo. He is a Chicago native and the first America to be Pope. We had the pleasure of an audience with the late Pope Francis when attendeeing the Focolare
conference. We look forward to
connecting with Pope Leo in the near future.
This past weekend we attended a engaging dialogue between Muslims and Catholics. It was in honor of two late
leaders, Lady Chiara Lubich, founder of the Focolare and Imam Warith Deen
Mohammed Leader of the Bilalian African
American Muslims. It was a space
of
peace. The love of humanity cover the room. The New Jersey host was Masjid
Mohammed in Newark NJ, however the attendees joined virtually from serval watch parties around the world. Compassion Action Foundation looks forward to more such opportunities to build bridges.
