During the summer months, in addition to the regular class schedule, our center offers accelerated schedule with 4 hours tutoring a day which enables students enrolled in this program to progress one level at every two weeks. In addition, during the summer months speaking is given big emphasis so the students can perfect their Arabic speaking skills at a short period of time.

TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION

If registered students let us know earlier about their exact arrival date and time to Cairo, we will be able to meet them at the airport and ring them to the place where they will be staying during their study. Students have two alternatives for accommodation.

Hotel: Daily rate is between 75USD-100USD for hotels with four or five stars. We will arrange shuttle service from the hotel to the language center. Reservation and other related works are done by our staff if we have an agreement with the hotel.

Furnished House: Furnished houses are available for 6-8 students. The amount to be paid for rent might change depending on the age of the house and the condition of the furniture. Rent for an average furnished house in Nasr City where our center is located is around 600 USD. All expenses related to the house are paid students. Students will find these houses ready when they arrive in Egypt. Groups of students can live together if they ask. Our Arabic teachers usually visit those houses during the nights for one hour in order to practice what they have learned in the courses.

REGISTRATION AND ACCOMMODATION FEES

Group Course Fee : 300$ – 500$ (8-12 Persons / per student / per month)

Private Course Fee  : 850$ – 1150$ (Single student / per month)

Fees include; invitation letter, meeting at the airport, sendoff, 2 Arabic courses (4 hours / day) 16 hours Quran lessons, 10 hours calligraphy lessons, educational documents, practice tours, trips to historical and touristic places in Egypt, and certificate. Students will need to pay extra tuition fees if they ask for extra lessons. Discount is possible for groups of 10 or more. Payments should be sent to our bank accounts or to our accounting department at the first day of the classes. Students who leave earlier during summer courses will not get a refund. Registrations are done at the center in person.

Students should fill in application form and

Their passports for the registration.

Once they register, applicants complete a written and oral examination to determine their level.

The payment can be made to the bank account of the center before the course starts or in person at the center on the first day of the classes.

The course fees are non-refundable once the classes begin.

Upon completion of their levels enrolled, students receive a certificate.

Once a student completes all levels he/she is given a diploma of Arabic proficiency certified by the Egyptian Ministry of Education. Students who inform us of their itinerary 72-hours ahead of time can be met at the airport and transported to their place of accommodation for a small fee. We also provide services in finding furnished housing upon request. Monthly rents vary depending on the condition of the flats and furnishing it comes with. In general furnished flats can be found around $600 per month in Nasr City area where the Center is located.

Compassion Action Foundation is organized and operated exclusively for charitable, cultural, educational, and religious purposes within the meaning of Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code to serve the needs of African American communities through social, cultural, educational and religious programs that will better spread the mercy, kindheartedness, and humanity among individuals, and society as a whole regardless of race or national origin.

We believe in the communal peace and power of togetherness that kept us dynamic, strong and passionate to move humankind forward for centuries. We also believe that compassion, mutual understanding and respect differences are the most unique values gifted to human being which enable living together and in peace.

Reaching a more democratic and civilized world didn’t become so easy for humanity and yet it is in progress to proceed in this quest.

The founders of this organization acted with one goal in mind: world had been long experienced that social separations and isolations brought nothing but conflicts, wars, inequalities and famine. Curing these problems and creating a more peaceful, civilized and livable world. May only be possible through compassion, dialogue and accepting cultural diversity as richness and we are ready to convert these values in to action!

All our social programs and events are designed to promote friendship and build bridges among African Americans and shape the youth to become morally, and ethically virtuous individuals.

Our Vision

• To oppose inequalities due to illness, unemployment, psychological and physical disadvantages with all modern instruments and most effective methods while creating a communal awareness of such issues through campaigns
• To aid in earthquakes, fires, floods, hurricanes and other natural disasters as quickly and effectively as possible
• To offer health services to those who require them but cannot afford them
• To provide education for children and youth who do not have access to proper schooling for economic or other reasons
• To host and encourage social gatherings to promote the oneness of community

BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Savas Ozturk – President

Mr. Ozturk achieved his Masters of Science of Public Relations in 2004 from The Institute of Social Sciences, Selcuk University in Konya, Turkey. Afterwards he started to work in Turkey, Azerbaijan, Moldova and the United States.

Now, he is active his own business and the president of Compassion Action Foundation. He also pursuing his doctoral degree in the International Education Department, from Northcentral University, Arizona, US.

Adam Johnson – VP (Vice President)

Mr. Johnson graduated from a political Science,, he continues his own business at Houston, TX.

He is very active in volunteering, public services, and supports many charity organizations where she resides in Houston, Texas.

Sherly Azimov – Secretary

Mrs. Azimov graduated from a Medical Assistant Program from Allen School Inc., Brooklyn, NY. Currently, she continues her education in the Medical Coding and Billing Department from Lincoln Technical Institute, Paramus, NJ.

She is very active in volunteering, public services, and supports many charity organizations where she resides in Dallas, Texas.

Cheryl Pearson has had the profound privilege of working with hundreds of youth and adults in the areas of business design- playbooks, education, spiritual leadership, and communication for over three decades.  She has supported a variety of people with finding their highest forms of self-expression while leaving positive and lasting impacts which uplifts those around them.  Cheryl’s ongoing commitment to participating in and with communities that celebrate and encourage inclusion, respect for each and every, and self-reflection has provided her with the opportunity to forge ever-expanding partnerships and “commitment-ships” that have spanned decades.
